Meet Tyrus & Cassie!
Married At Celebrations Event Center on June 23rd 2024
We are high school sweethearts who met through mutual friends and instantly had a connection. Since then we’ve accomplished a lot in life. Our biggest accomplishment being our son. The proposal started out with a weekend away in a hotel that led to a beautiful night out and dinner at my favorite place, Olive Garden, which led to the big question!
Why did you choose to have your wedding at Celebrations Event Center?
It was beautiful, lots space, and affordable with a payment plan.
Describe your wedding day?
It was a beautiful, sunny day filled with everyone we love! The decorations, the food, the music, everything was great and went well.
What are some of your favorite wedding day memories?
Seeing everyone being there to celebrate with us and to watch my husband’s face as I came down the aisle.
Did you DIY parts of your wedding?
Me and some of my bridesmaids put all of the decor together and all of my bouquets and everything was put together by a very close friend.
What vendors did you hire for your wedding day?
My DJ and photographer was Dewayne Daniel. Makeup was done by Liv Beauty. Catering was done by Blazing Trails Texas BBQ and Provenzano’s Trattoria
Was there a vendor that went above and beyond that you would recommend to your friends and family? Tell us about their service!
All of my vendors were amazing! My photographer doubled as a DJ and gave an amazing package deal! He met with me multiple times before the wedding to make sure everything was set and everything I wanted was taken care of. He didn’t miss a picture I wanted or a song I wanted the entire day! My makeup artist also met with me multiple times before the wedding the have a trial run and did exactly what I wanted. Catering by both places was amazing! So much delicious food and it was on time and hot! And of course the venue, which went above and beyond for me as well making sure our day was perfect! I would recommend all of them to anyone!
What advice would you give to a couple who is currently planning their wedding?
Enjoy the day!! Not everything will go as planned but make sure to make the best of it!
Would you recommend Celebrations Event Center and why?
Yes! They were amazing and made sure our day went as planned! They also had a great venue package and loved that we could pay on it and didn’t have to pay it all off at once which helped financially.
How has married life been? Any future plans you would like to share with us.
It’s been great! Raising our little boy and just living the dream!
